From the studio to the outdoors – outdoors in the natural environment is for me the BEST place to exercise – I have taught in a variety of places from Church Halls, Centre Studios, Gyms and nothing prepared me for the positive mental wellbeing and physical benefits of exercising outdoors. Nordic Walking for me has changed my life, I was a fitness instructor in studios and halls for 25 years and 3 years ago suffered a lower back issue where I could barely move. As well as keeping physically active I realised that posture and mobility as we get older is so important and NW is all of that and much, much more. There is nothing better than the feeling exercise gives you and there is nothing better than the physical, mental and social benefits NW gives you. Come and try!
